This course will provide course participants with an overview of the importance of risk management with a focus on the specific needs of financial institutions. The recent financial crisis highlighted the need for a comprehensive view of risk management across the entire enterprise, and the Institute of Internal Audit’s Three Lines of Defense framework has subsequently become a best practice.
