Asset managers are exposed to a myriad of investment risks. This course explores the different risks and how they are properly identified, measured, managed and controlled. Various risk measurements are compared and contrasted including the Sharpe and information ratio. How these risk measures are used in portfolio performance will be addressed. Annual reports from various asset managers will be examined in the context of risk management. Major risk management cases will be explored.
